2nd Entry

Assalamualaikum,

                Greetings to the readers and I hope you have a pleasant days. For my second entry I would like to talk about “Marrying Money is the young woman, older man…” stereotyping is exaggerated generalizations associate with a categorizing system or according to Oxford Advanced Learning`s Dictionary, it is a fixed idea or image that many people have at a particular type person or thing, but which is often not true in reality. Which it is they will go beyond the facts ay had and make ridiculous assumptions of point that usually have no valid basis.

                This statement can be interpreted in a different ways based on each individual knowledge. This due to the fact, us as a human being we cannot avoiding in commenting someone or something that beyond out thought and experience based on our first impression, thoughts or point of view. When we heard or being told about this kind of statement, the first action that snap out of our mind, a young women in between age 20 to 29 mostly marrying an old man who a wealth enough to support every demands that the women desire for. Certain people will married an old man who are not suit enough to be together, people might assume a grandfather are having fun with his grandfather at the public. Moreover, as we be stereotype, we will assume her is not in love but a shaver and waited her husband to be dead and claims his wealth.

                In addition, women nowadays also have their own hidden agenda. For example, she marrying the old man maybe because his rank or popularity. People will do anything for their own benefits. In nowadays situation, the old man actually know what is the reason behind it but they just don’t care. We can see when a young, sexy and beautiful willing to marry a man that old, not handsome but rich. This situation really implies the stereotype of ‘marrying money’. The woman maybe wants the title ‘Datuk’ or ‘Datin’, we can never guess for the real agenda. We can see in the drama, news or maybe just might happen in front of our eyes, a beautiful young lady married an old guy for her own benefits.

                To recapitulate, people will be stereotype and its natural thing to do when it’s come to the first impression but, we need to be careful especially when the word that came out might hurts people feelings as we criticizer them and likely we are actually have no right because we not in their shoes.
